Glass Lanterns have evolved from my love of nature and light. I have hand-picked and pressed every flower I use.
Each lantern is individually hand-crafted using a basic glass vase. Firstly, it is carefully covered with hand-made paper. The flowers are then glued onto the paper. The surface of the flowers is then coated with the same glue, which has a UV ingredient to help preserve the colour of the flower. The whole surface is then finished with 4 coats of a clear polyurethane varnish, which is water-resistant. This makes for a very durable finish which protects the flowers, and also means that the lantern can be used as a vase. Wipe only with a damp cloth, do not soak in water or put in a dishwasher. Rinse out with very hot water to remove wax.
The lanterns are designed to be illuminated by a single tea-light only, not a candle.
